About Me and the Trip

After too many years working in Telecommunications Support and more recently software testing. Jeff James decided to leave work - for about 15 months - or as long as it would take - and use his "Frequent Flier" points to buy a one way ticket to Barcelona Spain, taking his bicycle and cycling home from Europe to Melbourne, Australia. So in late March 2007 he headed to Barcelona with the bike and started riding. The ride home (initially estimated at 25,000 km) will take him through Europe, the Middle East, the Indian Subcontinent and finally South East Asia before the long ride south in the "Land Down Under"
